The Saddimoota initiative of Hare Krishna Charities is an expression of recognition or appreciation for our Food Givers. A Farmer is someone who finds potential in dirt and converts them into the most vital aspect of mankind. Food is the manifestation of God and a farmer steers this manifestation to the benefit of life on earth. India is a land of agriculture and 60% of the population run their livelihood through agriculture. Small town farmers today travel across different towns and cities to sell their only source of livelihood, the proceeds from their farm. Everyday they visit different market yards strive to sell their last bit of product with a hope to take back something tangible ...

The initiative of feeding food to the poor feeders is the saddimoota or “tiffin box” programme. Hare Krishna Charities offers subsidised hot and hygienic meals of different menu items every single day to maintain the nutritional balance and integrity of food. Thousands of farmers have benefited from this humble tradition of giving food for the poor that covers a step towards a hunger free nation. Thank a farmer if you have eaten a square safe meal. We are thanking them, why not join us in thanking them together.

Your every contribution matters in keeping the act of feeding food to the poor constantly running. Donate money for charity and donate money for food, even the smallest contribution makes an impactful difference among the poor. Help us to serve them better and larger.
