Chairman
Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa comes from Nagercoil, India. Being a passionate student of science during his pre-degree days, he was selected by the National Talent Search Program, which was widely regarded as the most prestigious and difficult examination in the country. He is one of the distinguished alumni of IIT-Bombay (graduated in 1981).
Inspired by the teachings and activities of Swami Srila Prabhupada, Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa dedicated his life for practising and sharing the principles of timeless Vedic wisdom of India. Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa has demonstrated his ability to build organizations of excellence in the non-profit sector, and is held in high esteem for his contribution to society in humanitarian, cultural, and spiritual spheres. He has been instrumental in conceiving and implementing many social initiatives that impact millions of people in India, giving them a better quality of life. Besides his achievements in the social sector, he has evolved innovative ideas in presenting the ancient cultural ethos of India in a modern, scientific and technological context.
In recognition of his outstanding services to the society Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa has been conferred the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India. He has been an admired guide and mentor for thousands of full time missionaries, professionals and youth.
Currently, Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa is the President – ISKCON – Bangalore; Chairman – Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir; and Chairman – Governing Body Commission of the Hare Krishna Movement.. He is also the Founder & Chairman of the Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Vice Chairman
Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa hails from Bangalore, India and is an illustrious alumni of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) – Bangalore. While pursuing his Bachelor’s degree, he got inspired by the teachings of Swami Srila Prabhupada and later became a full-time missionary at ISKCON, Bangalore to live the life of service to humanity and spread the principles of happy and effective living. He played leading roles in the growth stories of the Hare Krishna Movement group. Committed to the cause since 1984, he is currently involved in strategy, growth, and governance of Hare Krishna Movement.
One of his notable contributions to propagation of Indian Cultural Heritage includes bringing out the most cherished and popular animated ‘Little Krishna’ Series. Sri Chanchalapathi Dasa was at the helm in research, concept and design of this venture.
Currently he is the Vice Chairman – Governing Body Commission of the Hare Krishna Movement. He continues to research, teach and talk extensively on spirituality, social development and the intersection of science & spirituality. His talks regularly feature in various forums such as TED, TV channels, Corporate Conclaves etc. He also serves as Vice Chairman of The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Managing Trustee & President
Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa hails from Rajahmundry, India. He was a gold medalist and is an illustrious alumni of IIT-Chennai. While working as a senior resource in a software company in Bangalore, he was captivated by the presentation of timeless Vedic wisdom in the modern context, by Swami Srila Prabhupada. He joined ISKCON Bangalore in 1997, as a full time missionary dedicating himself to the cause of human welfare.
He is known for giving a modern context to the Vedic teachings in a lucid and practical manner so as to inspire the youth. He has coached, mentored and guided thousands of youth, families and working professionals on the principles of happy and effective living.
Currently, he serves as the President of the Hare Krishna Charities and drives the strategic growth and governance of the organization and oversees the operations across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. He also serves as a Trustee of The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
Trustee
Sri Amitasana Dasa hails from Assam, India. He is an alumnus of REC (NIT) Kurukshetra and graduated in computer science. While working with Kirloskar Computer Services, Bangalore, he was attracted to the fascinating teachings of Swami Srila Prabhupada and joined as a full-time missionary at ISKCON, Bangalore in 1992.
He is highly experienced in coaching, guiding and mentoring the youth. His seminars and workshops on personality enrichment, have immensely benefited hundreds of students and young professionals from across the country.
He specializes in inspiring and empowering the youth, children and working professionals in leading a highly effective life based on the time tested principles of Bhagavad-Gita. He has been instrumental in creating leaders and inspiring hundreds of highly educated youth to lead illustrious lives of selfless service for the benefit of society at large.
He is currently the President – Hare Krishna Movement Mumbai, Member – Governing Body Commission of the Hare Krishna Movement.
Trustee
Sri Vasudev Keshav Dasa comes from Kolkata, India. He is an engineering graduate from REC (NIT) Warangal and an alumnus of Wipro Systems, Bangalore.
Inspired by the teaching and works of Swami Srila Prabhupada, Sri Vasudev Keshav Dasa joined ISKCON, Bangalore in 1998 as a full time missionary. He specializes in deity worship standards and cultural festivals. He loves working with youth and children.
Currently he serves as vice president at ISKCON, Bangalore and Member – Governing Body Commission of the Hare Krishna Movement. He is also the Director of NIVE (National Institute of Value Education), which conducts Values Plus, a program to impart Value Education to students in schools. NIVE also operates best in class schools in Bangalore and Hyderabad, integrating modern education with foundational Indian values.
Trustee
Sri Maha Vishnu Dasa comes from Vijayawada, India. After his graduation in engineering, he worked for L & T InfoTech. Inspired by the teachings of Swami Srila Prabhupada and his invaluable contribution to modern society, Sri Maha Vishnu Dasa joined ISKCON Bangalore as a full time missionary.
He specializes in fund raising for various social and culture projects of Hare Krishna Movement Group and has been leading the fundraising teams for more than a decade. He has been instrumental in establishment of a Mega Kitchen in a short span of time to facilitate distribution of food to 1,00,000 pilgrims per day and has received special appreciation award from Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
He is known for his depth of understanding and presentation of self-management principles of Bhagavad-Gita and other Vedic literature in a lucid way so as to help people in general to implement the principles in their lives and lead a happy life. Currently, he serves as vice president – Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad.
Hare Krishna Movement Charitable Foundation is part of the Group Trusts consisting of Hare Krishna Movement, ISKCON Bangalore, The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir etc.
All the managing trustees of these Trusts are missionaries of the Hare Krishna Movement. However, each Trust is a separate legal entity and may have different governance structures depending on the scale and nature of the activities of the respective Trust.
