Inspired by the noble vision of our Founder and Acharya – Swami Srila Prabhupada that “No one within ten miles of our centre should go hungry”, our humble journey began with serving meals to 5000 people in Hyderabad and now we serve over 70,000 hot and nutritious meals every day. I personally feel blessed for having witnessed countless stories of hope and fulfilment over the past ten years.
‘Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam’ is a celebrated Vedic aphorism. Food sustains and nurtures life. As we continue to work on the above noble vision of feeding the needy, we acknowledge the enormity and the scope of work ahead of us. We will continue to strive vigorously to fuel the underprivileged through the power of hygienic, hot and nutritious meals.
Since the inception, Hare Krishna Charities has evolved, adapted and overcome challenges that came in its way. Our dedicated missionaries, committed employees, ever supporting partners and well-wishers and our ability to adapt to latest technologies have been our greatest assets. Our teams have time and again showcased their agility to raise up to any extraordinary circumstance, be it a calamity, pestilence, floods etc. and feed the needy with much more enthusiasm and spirit of service.
Today, our beneficiaries and their families stand as inspiring examples of the remarkable transformation and unfailing fulfilment of hope that food is capable of bringing in their lives. Hare Krishna Charities is both humbled and proud, in being a part of their journey, seeing them spin the wheels of change, empowering themselves and the lives around them.
As we prepare to scale up and better our services to the society, we look forward to more cross organization collaborations and knowledge sharing partnerships that will maximize our collective efforts and reach.
